 Summary

Arriving at Aru Village, Gokū and Bulma are slightly unnerved by the silence of the small village. After calling to test anyone, Bulma concludes that it is a ghost town and the only thing of interest in the town is the Dragon Ball they are looking for. Gokū disagrees, saying that he can smell all kinds of people, and knocks on the door, asking why no one answers. When Bulma says that the door is locked, Gokū hits the doorknob and claims that it is now open. A villager with an ax flies out of the house from the shadows and strikes Goku’s head with the tool, shattering it and causing the boy great pain. After seeing that the ax did not kill Gokū, the villager begins to beg for Lord Oolong’s forgiveness, claiming that he will give him anything but his daughter. Both Bulma and Goku are confused, not knowing who ‘Oolong’ is.
The villager’s daughter takes Goku into the house and dresses Goku’s new bruise with a cool cloth. She apologizes for the attack and Bulma says that if the ax had hit her, she would have been dead instantly. Gokū pats the village daughter on the crotch and concludes that she is a girl – the beginning of the “slap” used by Gokū during Dragon Ball to determine gender. Bulma irritably slaps Goku’s head and angrily tells him not to do it again. Bulma then asks who Oolong is and why everyone is so scared. The elder explains that Oolong is a terrible demon that haunts their lands as a shapeshifter who has never revealed his true form. Just the day before, Oolong had arrived and decided to marry the village elder’s daughter because he thought she was cute. The demon had previously kidnapped many girls and threatened to kill and eat any villager who tried to resist. Gokū suggests a simple solution to beating up Oolong, but the village elder dismisses the idea, saying that Oolong is too big.
Bulma digs through her bag and pulls out a Dragon Ball, asking the old man if he has seen one. by chance. While he says no, an older woman comes with the Ball and says that her grandmother found it somewhere. Gokū counts the stars and reveals that Ball is Liushinchū. Bulma suggests that if the elderly woman gives her the ball, she will handle the Oolong for them. The old woman says the offer is nice, but she doesn’t believe it’s a job a schoolgirl can handle. Bulma replies that she won’t do the work, Goku will. Meanwhile, Gokū pats an older woman and concludes that she too is a ‘girl’. Bulma furiously tells Goku to stop ‘slapping’ when the woman blushes. The village elders then ask, even though Oolong is defeated, how any of them will know where his lair is to find the other young girls. Bulma tells the elderly man to lend her his daughter’s clothes, and she puts them on Goku, much to his chagrin. The plan is for Gokū to pretend to be the village elder’s daughter and be taken to Oolong’s lair in her place so they can find a place.
Just then Oolong arrives and the whole village panics. Bulma wishes Goku luck and places him outside while she hides in the safety of the elder’s home. Oolong in ogre form arrives in a suit, carrying flowers, ready to take his ‘bride’ back to his lair. Gokū, acting terribly, hastily agrees. However, Oolong notices that Gokū is shivering and assumes that he is cold at first. Gokū mentally denies this, claiming that he simply has to pee. Oolong then assumes that Gokū is actually afraid of his demonic appearance and changes his form to an elegant gentleman. Bulma immediately falls in love with this new form and quickly leaves the house in a love stupor. Oolong asks her bra size, to which Bulma puffs out her chest and declares it to be a “34-C”. Oolong’s thoughts immediately shift, happy to be able to do “puff-puffs” but also nervous that she is 16, which would make her older than him. He begins to worry about which girl to marry; the younger and innocent one, or the older and sexy one. He eventually settles on both of them until he notices that Gokū is peeing standing up. Oolong looks on in confusion and realizes that Gokū is not actually a young girl. Enraged, he transforms into a giant bull.
Bulma panics again and retreats to the elder’s house, who remarks that she herself is far from a decent person. Bulma tells Gokū that it’s time to go to plan B – beat up Oolong and force him to take himself home to their lair. Gokū eagerly agrees, while Oolong tries to negotiate that if they give him the girl from yesterday, he won’t kill anyone in the village. However, Gokū is undaunted and begins taunting Oolong to try and attack him.
