Summary
Fleeing from her young pursuer, Murasaki releases Android #8 from the cage and demands that he kill Goku. #8 flatly refuses, saying that living things shouldn’t be killed and that he doesn’t want to do bad things. Murasaki is furious, but Number 8 knows the Red Ribbon Army is committing atrocities and doesn’t want to do what they say. Murasaki pulls out the remote and tells #8 that if he refuses to listen, a simple push of the button will activate the bomb hidden in his chest and blow him up.
When #8 refuses again, General White orders Murasaki to blow up the failure. Murasaki moves into the hideout and prepares to blow it up, and Number 8 accepts his fate. Enraged, Goku defeats Murasaki with Jan Ken after he destroys the remote control. Goku and #8 introduce themselves and #8 volunteers to take Goku to the top floor of the Muscle Tower. Deciding on his name was too hard to tell, Goku gives #8 the nickname “Hacchan” and #8 likes the sound of the nickname.
They easily make it to the top floor and enter General White’s building. Despite pleading for him to surrender, White presses a button, triggering the trapdoor in his office, and Goku and #8 plunge into the depths.
