Summary
With God removed from his body, the man known as Shen collapses. With ten left, the announcer announces Piccolo as the winner. The God Possessed Man wakes up and is surprised to see that he is in the Tenkaichi Budōkai, believing that he has drunk too much sake. However, his son made a huge impression on him.
Gokū demands the bottle containing God back, but Piccolo swallows it and tells Goku that the only way to free God is to kill Piccolo – which would kill God anyway. When Muten Rōshi arrives to ask what’s going on, Gokū explains to everyone that the Ma Junior they see is actually Piccolo Daimaō, or more accurately, his reincarnation. He also explains that the entity that came out of Shen’s body and looked like Piccolo was God, and explains what happened when God and Piccolo separated from a single being.
Rōshi concludes that Piccolo is here, to avenge his loss to Goku three years ago, which Piccolo confirms upon his arrival. Both enter the ring and their match begins.
