Summary:
Bulma calls Kame House and Kuririn picks up. Kuririn says that Gohan and Trunks haven’t arrived yet. She tells him to turn the TV to channel 872, so Kuririn gets up and does so, with Yamcha and Kame-Sen’nin watching as well. The reporter says they got new information. “Following the investigation team’s report, many remains of clothing that we believe to be the victims have been found. Now here is our reporter at the scene.” The reporter says, “About fifteen thousand people have disappeared. That’s all of Ginger Town, but there are new findings. We found a lot of remnants of clothes! It’s like people have completely disappeared! Next to this set of clothes is rifle as if this person was trying to fight something.” Kuririn thinks they must be artificial humans. But Bulma doubts it and thinks Gohan and Trunks would too.
Kuririn asks if it has something to do with the second time machine, and Bulma says there’s no doubt about it. He will understand when Gohan and Trunks arrive. Chi-Chi then comes down the stairs and says that Goku is sleeping soundly. Gohan and Trunks arrive and notice everyone staring at the TV. Kuririn tells them to watch the news and then explains. “Oh, what was that! I can hear you screaming now!! Shot!! I hear gunshots!! For some reason the investigation team and the police are shouting in that direction!! What on earth… Oh, it’s quiet again… If I can, I’ll take a closer look…” A surprised expression appears on the reporter’s face, and then the image cuts. They quickly switch to another channel only to find a camera on the ground and someone screaming for help.
The god is worried and Piccolo wants to know what’s going on down there. The god says fine and Piccolo tells him to say what monster he saw in the lower world. God says there is no need. Once they unite and become one, they will understand. Piccolo is glad he finally made up his mind. God says they have to hurry before there are more victims. Piccolo says he’ll be the base, and of course God says he’s younger and much more powerful. Piccolo places his hand on God’s chest and God smiles and says that what Earth needs now is not a god, but someone strong. He tells Piccolo that his evil heart is almost gone and there will be no need for them to split again. He thanks Mr. Pop and then… God screams and flashes, then gets swallowed by Piccolo.
Mr. Popo says goodbye to God and says please don’t die. Piccolo says that he is no longer God or Piccolo. He is a Namekian who has long since forgotten his real name. Piccolo then says goodbye to him and flies away. Meanwhile, Trunks has apparently explained everything to the others and says he wants to make sure it was the thing that shed the skin. Everyone protests, but Trunks says he’ll be fine, he’s a Super Saiyan and the real threat is artificial humans. Gohan wants to go but Chi-Chi says no. Trunks says he’ll be fine on his own and asks everyone to protect Goku from the artificial humans and then starts to walk out the door.
