Summary:
Piccolo wonders if Dende can really make Dragon Balls, but Goku says that the elder Namekian said he was excellent. Dende thinks he can make the Dragon Balls in about a hundred days, and Goku can’t believe it will take that long. Dende then realizes that he could just restore the Dragon Balls that turned to stone here, and that can be done now. Kuririn thinks this is great and asks if he can grant three wishes as a Namek dragon. Dende says he can, but Piccolo wonders if it could bring a bunch of people back to life at once. Dende says he could grant two wishes with these restrictions. Piccolo says it’s good and Dende asks for a dragon model and Mr. Popo goes and gets it.
Dende stands above the cover and shoots some magic stuff. Then light shoots out of it and scatters down to Earth. Dende says that the dragon balls should be restored now and Piccolo thinks that Dende really has superior power. Goku says he will go borrow the dragon radar from Bulma and collect them. He says that Gohan doesn’t have to train anymore and can stay here and play with Dendo until the Cell Games. Goku then teleports away. Trunks asks Gohan if he knows why Goku is being so easy when he says that Cell is stronger and knows no weak point. Not even Gohan knows, his father just told him to have fun. Kuririn says for Goku to say that there has to be some chance of winning.
Goku arrived at Bulma’s lab where she and Dr. They brief work number 16 and he grabs the Dragon Radar. He then sets out to collect Dragon Balls. And so time passes. Vegeta emerges from the Room of Spirit and Time. Cell stands in his ring and thinks that maybe ten days is too long. And now Goku has collected all seven Dragon Balls. The world puts all its hopes in the world champion fighter, Satan, who says he can take on Cell. And then the fateful day arrives, M 17. Goku transforms into his dōgi and sets off, with Chi-Chi asking him not to die. She also tells him not to let Gohan fight, but Goku kind of ignores her and leaves. At God’s Palace, he sees that Piccolo, Kuririn, Gohan, Trunks (again with long hair), Dende, and Mr. Popo are there. Vegeta had already left.
Goku asks them why they are all looking down. Kuririn says that just like before, the Dragon Balls can bring a lot of people back to life with a single wish. But just like before, they can only bring people back to life who have never died before. Dende apologizes and wishes he had said something sooner. Goku tells Dende not to worry, they won’t die. Kuririn wonders how Goku can say that, but Goku says don’t worry, let’s go. Cell is waiting in the ring. A reporter and cameraman are on a cliff overlooking the ring when Mr. Satan’s car pulls up. Satan raises his fist for the camera and people around the world cheer him on. Satan looks at Cello then gives him a thumbs down. A reporter who actually serves as an announcer says that Satan has announced his victory. Cell asks who this worm is as the announcer says that there are only fifteen minutes until the start of the Cell Games. He predicts that Satan will be in the lead against Cell!
