Summary:
Freeza says that Goku is the first person, besides his parents, to hurt his pride. Freeza also thinks this is the first time since he was born that he's been this excited, and wonders how he should "cook" Goku when he's done. Goku worries that Freeza wasn't even slightly affected by his attack, as Freeza begins to telekinetically move the stones, sending them towards Goku. Goku avoids/smashes them all, angry that Freeza is using supernatural powers. Frieza then suddenly appears above Goku and traps him in a large ball of energy, sending Goku crashing onto the island. When the smoke clears, the island has been completely destroyed.
Kuririn is amazed at how much Freeza is holding them back, and Piccolo says that even now he's just playing. "He has the power to destroy this planet if he was so inclined..." However, Gohan is more worried about his father, but Piccolo tells him not to worry because even Goku isn't taking this battle seriously. Kuririn doesn't think Piccolo is telling the truth, but Piccolo tells them to look behind them…
Goku lands behind them and thinks it was close. Then, without saying anything else, he flies back, surprising Freeza. “Hey, don't destroy other people's planets. Kuririn wonders how Goku did it, and Piccolo explains that he escaped the super-speed paralysis at the same moment as the explosion. Gohan can't believe it as Piccolo thinks they are both crazy. Freeza tells Goku that he is persistent and that it was just a warm up. Goku tells him not to worry because it was the same for him. Meanwhile, back on Earth, Chi-Chi wonders if Gohan does his homework every day and worries about screwing up Goku. Gyūmaō thinks they should be on their way home by now.
