Summary:
As Kuririn and Gohan head to Eldest's house, Bulma is sitting in her small canyon eating some food, angry at Kuririn and Gohan for leaving a lady like herself alone. Kuririn and Gohan fly very slowly, so it will take them some time to reach their destination, but at least Vegeta won't find them. Kuririn doubts that the two together as they are now would be able to defeat Vegeta. Gohan wonders if he would really be able to take on Vegeta, and Kuririn says that he must have a lot of latent power due to his Saiyan blood. Meanwhile, Vegeta arrived at the location with the five dragon balls he had stolen from Freeza and dropped the sixth in a pile. Vegeta is upset that they have some kind of device to find the dragon balls and says he'll wait until they start moving. He then thinks how Freeza can't go anywhere with his broken spaceship and probably contacted someone to bring them more explorers, which would probably take about three or four days to arrive. He thinks that if he was granted eternal life by then, he can defeat Freeza and now is his chance, while Freeza has no explorers.
About two days later, Goku continues his furious training in space, now finally at 100G. Goku fires the Kamehameha so that it circles the room and takes it head on as it flies back to him. Collapsing from exhaustion, he slowly crawls and eats senzu to fully recover. He says it was close, but then decides to go back to it. "Goku repeatedly went to the brink of death and then ate senzu to refresh himself." The seven beans that Karin had given him had already dropped to just three... However, Goku seems to have somehow realized this Saiyan characteristic where his strength grows by overcoming death through this incredible training...” Another day passes and Goku is still training. He says he's not tired at all from training now and decided to spend the rest of the day resting and getting used to regular gravity again. After flipping the gravity back down, he throws a small piece of the ship across the room and moves in to catch it.
Goku is very excited about his progress and says how light and strong he feels. He thinks he can definitely withstand 10x Kaiō-Ken now. With only one day left to planet Namek, he takes a bath and then goes to bed. Even he doesn't realize how powerful he became... Meanwhile, Freeza is upset that Zarbon hasn't returned after four days and learns that he either escaped or was killed. He can't wait for Ginyu's special unit to arrive. With the explorers they bring, he can get the dragon balls from the Weed. The scene changes to Gohan and Kuririn as they sit down and take a snack break. Gohan asks if there is still a way to go even after four days. Kuririn says that there is and is upset that the eldest will die soon. He decides they should pick up the pace since Vegeta probably won't notice them from that far away. However, Vegeta concentrated intensely during the wait and immediately notices them.
