Summary:
Freeza tells Vegeta that he can’t win with speed alone and thinks this Super Saiyan is just a stupid legend. Vegeta becomes angry and yells that he is a Super Saiyan. Vegeta fires a huge blast at Freeza and Piccolo yells at Vegeta asking if he intends to destroy the planet. Freeza is startled at first, but then kicks the blast away, straight into the air. Piccolo can’t believe it and Kuririn thinks that Vegeta put his full power into that attack. “For the first time since birth, Vegeta’s heart trembles… True terror and definite frustration… Fear and despair caused tears to flow.” This is also the first time…Vegeta is already losing the will to fight…” Freeza flies up and headbutts Vegeta, then kicks him to the ground. Freeza touches and lifts Vegeta with his tail around Vegeta’s neck and then starts punching Vegeta in the back. Freeza looks at the others and tells them that they can help him whenever they want. “The three of them, Piccolo and everyone else, became unable to move as if paralyzed, against the terror of Freeza, who has a vastly different fighting power.
Meanwhile, Goku notices that Vegeta’s ki is rapidly diminishing even though he should be incredibly strong, and he can’t believe how strong this Freeza has become. But then the medical machine beeps, indicating it’s finished healing, and Goku jumps right through the ceiling onto the roof of Freeza’s ship, pausing to take notice. “I got stronger!! It’s like my power is overflowing fast…!! I can’t believe it…! Even though I think I’ve almost reached my limits… I’m a little worried for myself… It’s still good. .. Sorry everyone, I’m on my way!!!!”
