Summary:
Vegeta takes off his scout and says three hours have passed and that coward Kakarrot is still not here. Gohan yells at him that his father is not a coward and Kuririn wonders why he didn’t come. Nappa, who has removed his outer armor, is ready to defeat them, but is disappointed not to see Kakarrot. Kuririn thinks they’re all going to die now, and Piccolo says there’s little chance they’ll win if things go smoothly. Piccolo says that the plan will be for Kuririn to distract Nappa and then grab him by the tail. And then Gohan will have to put all his strength into the attack. Kuririn thinks this is a good plan and they can actually win.
The god suddenly senses Son Goku’s ki, meaning he has finally made it back. God teleports away to get him as Goku is at the end of the Serpent’s Path. Goku rushes to Enma-daiō’s office and then God grabs him and they teleport back to God’s palace. He and Mr. Popo then wish Goku luck and he jumps off the side of the palace and charges towards Earth. He goes down to the top of Karin Tower and Karin throws him his last two senzu. Goku eats one to restore all the energy he lost traveling the Serpent Road, then yells at Kinto-Un just before he hits the ground. Then they approach the battlefield.
Kuririn then kicks things off and lunges at Nappa, and Vegeta realizes he has to have a plan. Just as Kuririn gets close, he blasts the ground and projects into the air. Nappa wonders what he’s doing and Piccolo takes the opportunity to run up from behind and grab him by the tail. Gohan then heads to perform his move, but Nappa just punches Piccolo in the head, knocking him down. Vegeta laughs, how would they think they wouldn’t train their tails for such a thing.
