Character Synopsis
As Goku lies on the ground in pain, Kaiō asks if he is okay. Goku thinks so, but admits that he wasn't really a good fit for Beerus. Kaiō says that's an understatement and that's why he told him to stop, but of course that's not in Goku's nature. Goku sits down and remembers that Beerus mentioned something about going to Earth.
Back on Earth, Bulma's birthday party on the cruise ship was interrupted by Beerus stopping by to ask about this supposed "Super Saiyan God". Boo apparently ate all of the pudding, prompting Beerus to take out his frustrations on those present. Gohan and Boo are already accounted for, so Gotenks is powered up to Super Saiyan 3... though they are easily pushed aside. Piccolo starts to move, but Vegeta tells him not to bother. Vegeta has a flashback to a childhood memory of Beerus standing over King Vegeta apologizing for the Saiyans getting a little full. Beerus laughs at Gossip's well-informed introduction. Bulma arrives and slaps Beerus for ruining her party; Beerus responds just like a slap. Vegeta takes off in a rush of emotion and rushes forward with a flurry of attacks. While Vegeta's attacks are impressive in their own right, they are ultimately nothing against Beerus.
