Character Synopsis
Goku continues the next round against Merged Zamasu, fighting the god's telekinetic powers but still managing to attack occasionally. Zamasu rips off his shirt in disbelief at the damage to his body while Goku simultaneously tries to keep his strength and composure. Zamasu yells that he will wipe out the entire galaxy and lunges at Goku, who comes flying in with an unexpected technique: the same "destruction" that Beerus used against Zamasu earlier in the timeline. As part of Zamasu's body begins to disappear, he uses the portal to grab Mai and shove her in front of the technique, forcing Goku to stop. Zamasu kicks Goku aside and regenerates the missing part of his body. Trunks attempts to rush Zamasu, but is deftly knocked aside; Vegeta knows it's over.
Zamasu suddenly begins to tear in half; it must be an hour since the merge! However, both halves seem to reject the split; Gowasu theorizes that since the two are technically the same person, they may have somehow connected on a cellular level due to fusion. Trunks jumps in again, this time managing to cut Zamasu into two separate halves. Trunks plunges his sword into the defeated Black's chest. Finally, it looks like the fight is over... but Black takes a shot at Trunks and stands up, impaling his sword and all. Both Black and Zamasu transform into merged Zamasu versions of themselves, who then launch another attack on Goku. With Goku and Trunks down, Vegeta explodes with rage at the gods, kicking Goku aside and launching a Gamma Burst Flash. After the explosion, the separated parts of the gods' bodies writhe on the ground in an attempt to reform. The Kaiōshins try to get the others to teleport with them, but suddenly there are many Zamasu who have reformed…!
