 Character Synopsis

Goku and Vegeta defuse back to their individual selves, leaving Trunks and the others to wonder why they didn't last a full hour. Zamasu continues his attacks with teleportation style punches and kicks that appear from portals scattered around both heroes. Twenty minutes left until Zamasu's fusion ends! Universe 7's Kaiōshin wails as he takes a stance; if he remained a disciple, he would still have the power of regeneration. Trunks recovers and explains that he actually took on the role of an apprentice in his own timeline in order to fight Dabra. Thanks to a special dance, Trunks actually has this special power! This is probably why he was able to (unknowingly) heal Mai and Gowasu when they suffered injuries that would otherwise have been fatal.
Vegeta is knocked into the air, prompting Trunks to grab him and bring him back to the group. Kaiōshin explains that Trunks will only be able to heal one person, though: will it be Vegeta or Goku? Vegeta concedes and tells Trunks to heal Kakarrot... he's the only one who can take on Zamasu in Super Saiyan Blue right now. Vegeta interrupts Zamasu's attack on Goku and throws him down into Trunks. Zamasu goes after Vegeta, not realizing it's all a distraction. Trunks takes the opportunity to heal Goku back to normal just as Vegeta is beaten unconscious.
