 Character Synopsis

While present-day Trunks "trains" with Pilaf and Shuu, Mai is snapped out of her daydream by the reappearance of the time machine... but only Goku and Vegeta (and the cat) come out. Unfortunately, they had to leave Trunks behind, but Goku takes this opportunity to learn the mafūba. Goku believes they can travel back to the exact moment they left, but Bulma explains that the machine is generally connected to a parallel future more than just a point in time per se. Additionally, the connection seems to be weakening, so their next trip will be their last chance.
Kaiōshin suddenly stands up, though he explains that he is simply going to visit Gowasu in Universe 10 to express his condolences and support. and also to inform him of the latest developments; However, Whis doesn't seem to fully trust him. Beerus scolds Goku and the others for helping Zamasu in this timeline, but the rest is up to them. Goku wonders what the future Whis will do, but Whis explains that the works of angels are simply put on hold if their respective god dies, leaving them with no godly allies in the future timeline. Vegeta leaves, refusing to use a technique like Mafūba, determined to kill him in his own way regardless of Super Saiyan Rosé.
