 Summary

After finding out the Dragon Ball's location, Gokū flies off on Kintoun towards the car that Baba said was inside. The car is revealed to be driven by none other than Pilaf along with Shū and Mai. Pilaf is certain that his wish will come true, even though he has no idea what he intends to do when he rules the world. Goku catches up to them, lands on the car and demands their Dragon Ball. Mai almost crashes the car when they remember each other.

Gokū recognizes the group as the ones who tried to kill them; Mai comments that it's bad that Gokū came looking for them. Pilaf, on the other hand, thinks that this is an advantage for them and they can just grab him by the tail to exploit his weakness. Pilaf challenges Gokū to a duel, and if Gokū wins, he gives up his Dragon Ball. If Pilaf wins, Gokū will give up his six instead. Gokū agrees and Mai, Pilaf, and Shū throw the Hoi Poi capsules, releasing the three mecha suits in which Gokū fights.

Despite their intimidating appearance, Gokū is undeterred and easily dispatches Pilaf's mecha suit.
