Summary
Gokū and Piccolo find that they are both tired, their attacks weakening. God pleads with Goku to accept his help, but Goku refuses because he wants to fight on his own. The others convince God that they should put their faith in Goku since he previously saved the world and earned the right to fight alone; moreover, he is the only one who can fight Piccolo.
Gokū believes he has seen all of Piccolo's techniques and believes he can win; However, Piccolo believes he has made too much progress over the past three years to lose. However, Gokū tells Piccolo that he has become even stronger than him and infuriates the demon to attack with Kikōha. At first confused by Piccolo using such a basic attack, he soon realizes that it is Kikōha stalking. Gokū smartly reacts and lures the technique back to Piccolo, dodging at the last second, causing it to turn against its creator and severely injure Piccolo's arm. Piccolo rips off his hand and quickly regenerates the pendant.
Enraged at being hit by his own technique, Piccolo prepares to retaliate with an even greater display of power, causing Gokū to ask everyone to run.
