Summary

Piccolo Daimaō declares his revenge on the killer of his children just before realizing Pilaf's suffering. The would-be conqueror points out that four signals have appeared and are headed for the same location they are. Determining that there are dragon ball hunters besides them, he asks what Piccolo wants to do.

The dragon team heads elsewhere at a fast pace, heading for the next signal with Tenshinhan at the helm and Kame-Sennin as passengers. The latter is grateful that Piccolo hasn't noticed them yet, and the prior suggests that Kuririn's killer might have the ball they're looking for. Tenshinhan states that they may have to fight Piccolo and makes no secret of his desire to kill him on his own, to which Kame-Sennin adamantly states that only Shenron can do such a thing. When he mentions the Demon Sealing Wave, Kame-Sennin reprimands him again, saying it's a reckless strategy that shouldn't be used. Tenshinhan verbally agrees, while inwardly believing that the old man knows the secret of the technique himself.

Piccolo eventually answers Pilaf, telling him that they will never get his ball, that it is his. He allowed the dragon ball hunters to continue collecting the relics, saying that it would save them the trouble while he could take revenge with his spawn slayer.

Gokū checks his dragon radar, Yajirobe idly agrees to exchange his Dragon Ball , if he brings him another monster to kill. Gokū realized that the new signal was right above their heads and, much to Yajirobe's surprise, saw Pilaf's airship. Yajirobe and Gokū hear Maia announce to Piccolo that they only came for Shū to point out that she accidentally hit the outer speaker. When Gokū duly informs the Demon King that they have arrived, he realizes that Piccolo has come to visit them. Realizing what story Piccolo is talking about, Yajirobe rushes in a panic to give Goku his Dragon Ball before running off into the hills.

When Pilaf spots the killer, he recognizes him as the one who stole their Dragon Balls . , which Piccolo assumes killed both Cymbal and Tambourine. He says they were overpowered by a rat and bitterly accepts that he has lost faith in their power. Landing in front of Gokū, he notices that he has a Dragon Ball and says that it is strong enough to kill his spawn. Gokū, on the other hand, claims that he is responsible for killing his friend and taking the Dragon Ball, which he vaguely admits. When Yajirobe hides and notices that he is indeed Piccolo Daimaō, Goku attacks the Demon King directly.
