Summary

Piccolo Daimaō wants to know who killed Cymbal aboard Pilaf's ship. He decides to contact Tambourine to find out more quickly about Cymbal's killer, and sends a telepathic cry to his strongest child.

Meanwhile, Tambourine attacks Gilan, who proclaims his strength while the prior laughs at his weakness. Gilan brags about obtaining the Tenkaichi Budōkai, to which Tambourine tells him he must die. Gilan spews out a ball of rubbery matter that wraps around Piccolo's son, declaring that he can't move so he can finish him off. The tambourine comes off easily and she says it was good technique. Screaming a final death threat, Tambourine lunges forward, driving Gilan's arm into his stomach, effectively killing him. Claiming to be the sixth to die, he sets out to kill his seventh target, Yamcha, and takes off to fly high into the sky.

Tambourine is contacted by his father mid-flight and informs Piccolo of his progress. Instructed to postpone his task, he solemnly informs a surprised Tambourine that Cymbal has been killed. When told to search the area where he was in the last scene and deal with the person who did it, spawn Piccolo agrees to this order and vows to kill the person.

Back at the camp, he Yajirobe complains that he is still hungry while Gokū informs him that he is in trouble. While he is adamant that he will just eat the other attackers, the young boy tells him that they are after the Dragon Ball and that he should hand it over to him. Gokū flatly refuses, saying that he will do as he pleases, reminding him of his dead friend Kuririn. On the verge of leaving each other, Yajirobe says hello and Gokū says he wants to see him again, which freaks Yajirobe out. When Gokū declares that he needs the ball along with the other six, he is about to explain their importance just before the low-flying Tambourine comes looking for Cymbal's killer. As Yajirobe drools over the future meal, Goku immediately recognizes him and calls out to him to come down.

The obese man tells Yajirobe that he is the one he wishes to fight and grants Goku's wish as long as he eats it afterwards. When Tambourine lands on the ground, he is shocked to recognize a young boy staring at him from afar.
