Summary

Despite his own teacher's betrayal, Tenshinhan notes that he finally feels free. Tenshinhan, determined to win the battle absolutely, begins to prepare a new technique. Chaoz at first believes it to be Kikōhō, but reveals it to be the Fist of Four Bodies - Tenshinhan's Four Arm Fist. Tenshinhan, who grew four more arms from his shoulder blades, shocked the entire stadium. With his four arms, Tenshinhan asserts his advantage against Goku, able to counter his techniques and strike back with an additional set.
After breaking away from Tenshinhan with a clever use of his tail, Gokū reveals Hasshūken and moves his arms. so high speed that it looks like he has eight. With his speed, Gokū manages to counter Tenshinhan's Shiyōken with ease, causing him to pull his hands to his shoulders, realizing that they will not work against Gokū's speed. Deciding to try a new tactic, Tenshinhan tells Goku that his next attack could easily kill him, but he doesn't want to kill him and begs Goku to dodge. Muten Rōshi pleads with Tenshinhan to avoid using Kikōhō as a technique, as it far surpasses Kamehameha in terms of raw destruction power, but in exchange, the loss of energy can be life-threatening. Muten Rōshi outright calls it a forbidden technique.
Convinced that he is out of danger, Tenshinhan begins to rise into the air. Gokū is stubborn and refuses to back down, despite his own teacher's warning.
