Summary

Jackie Chun asks Tenshinhan why he stays with the Tsuru Sennin, despite his own remarkable strength. However, Tenshinhan does not take this remark kindly and decides to use his full power to defend his teacher's honor. He releases Taiyōken and uses his advantage to attack the elder master with a knee to the base of the neck.

Jackie Chun falls to the ground stunned. Tenshinhan states that he did not kill him because it would jeopardize his participation in the tournament. Tenshinhan is visibly shocked that Jackie Chun can rise again, and Jackie Chun continues his previous statement, asking Tenshinhan to follow the path of the righteous. Exasperated, Tenshinhan attacks again, but Jackie Chun notes that his technique lacks the power they had before, suggesting that his words struck a chord with the martial artist.

However, Jackie Chun's actions in the ring gave him away; Tsuru Sennin realizes his identity and passes it on to his student. After realizing his opponent's secret identity, Tenshinhan unleashes a surprising technique: the Kamehameha, mimicking that of Yamcha. Jackie Chun notices the size of the technique and realizes that it would kill part of the audience if he didn't stop it. Jackie Chun deflects the technique, noting that just the thought of Tenshinhan's strength on the path of a righteous warrior gives him chills. He stunned everyone and lost by jumping out of the tournament ring.

Tenshinhan notes that Jackie Chun still hasn't used his full power in the match, while the man himself gleefully wonders what era he's ushering them into.
