Summary
After their morning training delivering milk, Kame-Sennin tells Goku and Kulilin about their morning training working in the fields with their bare hands. Afterward, the three have a late breakfast, and people in the restaurant marvel at the amount of food the three consume.
Later, training consists of studying literature until lunch, then a short hour-long nap helps the construction workers build muscle and swim. Frustrated, Gokū demands that Kame-Sennin teach him and Kulilin how to fight, but the Turtle Hermit insists that young boys cannot learn fighting techniques without first improving their bodies through these various activities.
Then the three they continue their training regimen by trying to push the boulder away. After Kame-Sennin pushes the boulder while Kulilin is not thinking about it, Gokū manages to surprise the turtle hermit and his classmate by pushing the boulder as well. After practicing rock jumping, Kame-Sennin has the boys perform dangerous tasks such as swimming with sharks, dodging bees, and finally training by having the boys carry 20 kilogram shells on their backs for the rest of the training.
