Summary
Gokū celebrates his friends’ victory and lets himself be overwhelmed by becoming the world champion. Yajirobe emerges from his hiding place and gives Gokū Senzu, healing his injury: Gokū feels one hundred percent better and leaps into the air, fully celebrating his victory. The god moves in to kill Piccolo, who is still alive, but Gokū rushes in to intervene. Goku figured out that if God dies, so will the Dragon Ball. However, God believes that everything that happened is his fault, Piccolo and all, and therefore he must die. However, Muten Rōshi believes otherwise, as it was the dragon balls created by God that brought the entire group together and resulted in the great adventure they all experienced. God praises Goku for having such a wise mentor and restores his gi to its original state. Gokū asks Yajirobe for another Senzu and proceeds to give it to Piccolo because he didn’t want to lose his rival. Piccolo leaves the group and threatens to return, and Chi-Chi rushes to hug her new husband, thrilled that she’s okay. God offers Goku his position, but he declines because it would bore him. Chaozu reveals that he is fine, and Gokū rejects the position of God one last time and calls out to Kintoun, who flies away from the tournament.
