Summary
The fight between Gokū and Piccolo began, they quickly traded blows during the tournament phase. Piccolo reaches out his arm, but Gokū sees through the technique, grabs the arm and throws Piccolo high into the air. Gokū follows with a shockwave, briefly stunning Piccolo. He doesn’t stay stunned for long though, and as Gokū chases after him, Piccolo responds with Kikōha, blasting Gokū out of the air before firing another, landing a solid hit and then opening fire.
As Gokū looks on knocked out, Piccolo tells Herald to stop counting because Goku only acts. As Gokū gets up, Piccolo confirms that Gokū held back to gauge Piccolo’s strength and techniques, and the two decide to fight in earnest.
