Summary

Gokū, realizing something is wrong, calls Tenshinhan out on his lack of honor. Muten Rōshi himself suspects foul play on the part of the Tsuru Sennin. Gokū dares Tenshinhan to try the same trick again and the two face off again. Tsuru Sennin orders Chaoz to use his paralyzing technique again, and he does so, limiting Gokū’s movements and allowing Tenshinhan another free shot. Almost falling out of the ring, Gokū saves himself with a timely Kamehameha and rushes back into the arena. After Gokū was knocked down again, after another hit from Chaoz, even Tenshinhan began to notice that something was wrong.

Tenshinhan noticed that it was Chaoz at work and asks his classmates to they stopped, directly defying the Tsuru Sennin’s orders. The Tsuru Sennin rages and demands that Tenshinhan kill Gokū; However, Tenshinhan states that he simply wants a fair match without any interference and that he has realized that he is not a murderer. Tsuru Sennin decides to kill Goku and Tenshinhan and orders Chaoz to freeze them both. Chaoz refuses and the Tsuru Sennin moves to kill him as well; However, Rōshi orders Tenshinhan to move and attacks the Tsuru Sennin with a Kamehameha. The explosion collides with the Tsuru Sennin, flying away and saving Chaoz. With the Tsuru Sennin gone, Rōshi urges Goku and Tenshinhan to continue.

Tenshinhan tells Goku that now that he has abandoned his own master, he has no choice but to win the tournament. As they prepare to continue, Tenshinhan declares that his next attack will decide the battle.
